Sitting here as the clock is turning beyond midnight. Feeling a little so-so. I've been busy all day with things. Mainly with looking for a new apartment, but I didn't find anything TRULY great yet, so I'm taking a chance to let it develop and see if something better turns up this monday. I also played chess and lost and ate fried rice twice today. The weather was has been pretty pleasant today thanks to the rain we've had. I'm hoping for a lot more. Now I better get my ass back home because I have kendo practice tomorrow morning. Take care of yourselves all of you.
Blog me sideways
This is where I'm supposed to write what it's about. But it's just some random things from my life, and things are not really about anything. Go with the flow.

Ok, I'm feeling lazy now. I slept from 2 to 6 o'clock. When I woke up I was confused enough to think it was a new day and time to get up and go to school haha. I didn't do much today. Yesterday evening I unfortunately dropped by the internet cafe out of pure boredom and ended up not getting to sleep until 2.30 am. I only had myself to blame for that one. Very unnecessary.
Now I'm really on my way to school again. I'm thinking about practicing a little kung fu on my own and if I'm lucky I might even run into Belle (my girlfriend) while I'm there. The need to join the Kendo competition was successfully avoided thanks to some excellent advice from a friend, and maybe I'll actually use this as an opportunity to practice Kendo even less often at the university club. It's not like I feel it's bringing me anything anyway.
Rain has finally been starting to fall here, which is a Good Thing (tm). North of Taiwan is already water-rationing and stuff, but luckily the Taichung doesn't seem to have as much problems with these things as the north and the south of the country.
Oh, and I thought of something else. You have any good links? Something I ought to add to the links on my page? Could be your personal blogs or something else. Anything goes but I'll only add the stuff I really really like. Still I promise to check out everything you send me.
That's it for today. Stay safe.

Wooohoo. Kind of tired, but it wasn't all that difficult to stumble out of bed this morning. Now I'm going home to sleep a few hours. I deserve it after getting up early and having a test and then fixing two computers that had problems. Mmmm.. Tiiired. Could be because I got less than 4 hours of sleep. Could be. Zzzzzzzz
Zzzzzzzhuh whut? Ah where am I oh.. yes, one more thing, any comments on my blog on how to make it better? If you do then by all means mail em to me. Or let me know how much you love reading my blog. Or about spring which should be coming to most of you. Or about nothing at all. Am I making sense or am I juuu..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I had a feeling I ought to stop by the internet cafe on my way home. There would be some news, some big news. And to my surprise it popped up as I was replying to some e-mails I thought I could do "since I got here anyway"... one of my friends with a very big problem had it luckily solved. Which is so great news that I can't help but to smile when I think about it.
Sleep well all of you out there, I know I will.

Yesterdays kung fu practice was nice, although I got home late as usual. Past midnight again *sigh* I thought I had a lot of homework I needed to do, but fortunately it turned out they were for Thursday. Swisht! <- sound uttered together with the switsht-movement. For you who don't understand, don't tax your strength too much, it's not that important.
There was apparently some earthquake a little while ago, but all that happened here in Taichung was a slight feeling of the floor gently rocking back and forth. Not even things moving. It was more interesting the first time, now it's old news.
For all of you who tried the test at http://pale.friendtest.com
I ended that quiz and made a new one. Harder but hopefully more interesting and fun. PH (Stephan Weidemann), my old good friend exiled in the northern wastes of Sweden managed to get the top score beating both my mother and my ex-girlfriend in the struggle for that exclusive number one spot.
Many of you might already know this, but for the rest of you: as you might have guessed from the above Regine and me are no longer an item. Actually we already decided when she moved we'd actually break up, but with the possiblity of getting together when I returned. I never really expected anything would happen here in Taiwan, but maybe that's why it did.
So yeah, I have a girlfriend here in Taiwan, a local girl practicing at the same kung fu club as me. All of you equipped with at least one eye might already have had some suspicions about that or? Anyway, if you didn't you can always pretend you did. I won't tell.
Tests are usually fun, but this result was really not so great... , when you get the following score after 6 persons completed your test it's a bit difficulty to see the fun of the "joke" of them giving you low scored. Unless you sincerely mean you hate me of course? (Yes I was seriously interested of what you thought of me)
This is what I got (1-10, 10 being best) when I sent the survey to 10 people who all know me well:
You recently ended a personality survey at FriendTest.com. Here are your results:
Does this person have a good sense of humor? (3.7)
Does this person look attractive? (2.8)
Is this person clever? (4.5)
Can this person be trusted? (4.5)
Can this person control his/her temper? (3)
Is this person kind towards his/her friends? (4.3)
Is this person sane and mentally healthy? (1.3)
Does this person have enough courage? (2.7)
Overall score: (3.4)
:(
Oh well, time to go. Remember trying the quiz at least (and write your names! Who is [bnw] for example??) and if you have any comments to me, please mail me about it.
Take care... all of you.

Oh, one more thing. Do you want to test how well you know me? Check out: http://pale.friendtest.com. Gotta rush.
Jeez did I feel worn out when I got home from kendo practice yesterday. It's not so much the practice as the 30 minute walk lugging the bogu (kendo armour) around. Especially on the way home. I got invited to join the club in a competition. It would be a team competition with teams from different universities competing. With me in the team they say, they have a very good chance of winning. Not surprisingly since most maybe have 1 or 2 years of kendo experience at the most and noone is used to facing nito.
But I'll let you in on a secret: I don't want to go. First of all it takes a whole weekend for me, when I'd rather do other stuff. Secondly, I'm not interested in winning even though I got past my block against competing I had for years. And thirdly, I don't like the idea I'll be used as their secret weapon to win in a competition to give them a rather unfair win. So now I have a week to come up with a good excuse. I don't like outright lies and I need a very good excuse not to go. If anyone has an idea, mail me about it :)
Other than that today was pretty much as most days so far. Nothing too bad, nothing too good. My thighs ache from Sunday's kung fu practice and I have a BIG UGLY bruise from kendo practice yesterday. You can safely say that people practicing here aren't as considerate with their training partners as in my club in Sweden. It's more of a macho thing here, especially with the younger people, something I personally very much dislike. Oh well. That's it for now, stay safe all of you.
