I slept nicely tonight. Although the noise level is higher in general, the morning was really quiet and without that barking and cuckadoodledoos I was used to from my old place. I spent last night cleaning and stuff so now I feel pretty comfortable with how neat and clean it is at home.
Today I also helped Belle to install some memory in her computer and we spent some time practicing and talking. Tonight's practice as usual. I'm looking forward to it.

Boored. Sitting here at the internet cafe. I should go home, maybe eat something. Still haven't moved in in my real room because it (as I expected) smelled too much of paint. This evening it might be ok though. Yesterday I lugged stuff twice from my old place, pretty boring. The evening I spent with Belle and that was a little less boring :) And I met her brother incidentally. Aaaa I'm really hungry. I should really get going.
Thanks those of you who sent me e-mail today. If I haven't mailed you back today, don't worry, it's coming a little later.

Goodbye for now...

Hi. Remember me? I'm the one who actually writes these blogs. Hello. Hope everyone is fine. And now, over to the story for today.

Actually not all that much to say. I woke up and went to school. Actually Belle met me on the way to school, I think she noticed my bad mood yesterday (oh, I didn't write about that, but it was because it would take too long and I felt too tired, basically I was a little annoyed that I had to ask her to help me call the people at the new place when originally she had promised to help me move and all, but everything is fine about that now), we talked long enough for me to be late to class, but I think it was ok.

Now I'm done with e-mailing and stuff and am ready to go to my old place and move some more things to where I live now. Yep, that's it. Bye bye. :)

Well, met up with Belle and Rita looking at rooms again (but not for me this time), after that I went home and brought some bags to my new place. I won't be sleeping in my room tonight though, I have to make do with another room because mine isn't put in order yet. (But it should be ok tomorrow I was told) But it feels good living so close to school and not needing to walk home for 30 minutes again. Time for me to leave here and go "home" and sleep. Be safe all of you.

Today I:

* Braved the rain and got my feet and my shoes wet, but wisely didn't put on any socks so it was better than yesterday.

* Had a test which I scored a perfect on ;) But so did my japanese classmate so...

* Ran into an american girl studying at the language center. Listened to her problems and gave her a broken umbrella.

* Met Belle and Rita at T-dalou (one of the university buildings), chatted a little and decided I would accompany them looking at apartments at 6.

* Arrived at the internet cafe and am currently considering playing a little counter-strike.

That's it. Peace.

Ok, since someone recently brought it up, it might be appropriate to ask... Does any of you (people who knows about this blog pretty much covers all of my friends with net access) mind being mentioned on this blog? If so, let me know. If not, I assume it's ok to put your names in the blog.

As for my current status, I was just outside in the rain and bought another umbrella, because the other one really quickly broke down on me. Now having used it for maybe 30 minutes it too starts to break. Quality oh you elusive thing!

Other than that, my knees has been sore from kung fu practice, but the teacher had a look at it yesterday and gave me some (painful) acupressure treatment and I was careful not to use too low stances during the practice. So now they are feeling better.

I also did some other shopping aside from the umbrella thing, namely getting a present for Belle. We've been together for 4 weeks now. The question is, should I celebrate "been together for a month" (which would be on friday) or "been together for 4 weeks" (today)? I think I'm going for the second alternative. If not for any better reason that I already bought a present. :)
(And nothing stops me from celebrating both haha)

Incidentally it's raining here. A lot. Which is a good thing considering there has been a drought. That's all from me right now. Be safe, and don't kill Santa.

Had an ok lunch with Belle and went for a walk. It's now a little past 2 and am hanging out at the internet cafe (as usual). Are you all missing me or are you getting your daily dose of me with this blog? Let me hear from you. My mailbox is practically empty haha. This morning I was annoyed at the Japanese woman in my class, as you can read in the entry just before this. But now I figured, all I hate is her chinese and it's nothing personal really. Makes me feel a little better, like a little less of an asshole. I wish I could tell her to shape up her pronounciation. That would let out a little of my steam, but that would be incredibly rude.

I'm gonna wrap stuff up here and then go home to study. Another day another test you know. Good thing I like to learn chinese or studying would be hell. Signing off...

Hmm.. I'm irritable today it seems. Which is a bad thing and which probably signals some worry I have, for how else can I explain why the Japanese woman's pronounciation totally annoys the hell out of me? I already wrote a rant about this earlier on, so no need to repeat it. But I feel annoyed gawdamn. The korean guy's pronounciation is bad too, but he hasn't practiced that much, his chinese skill is about the same level as his pronounciation and most importantly, you get a feeling he's making an effort so I'm not annoyed by him at all. No problem whatsoever. The Japanese woman on the other hand... stop speaking Japanese gawddamnit!!! :)

I shouldn't be irritable though. I got plenty of sleep, although the last dream I had was a little weird. We (me and some nameless others) were down looking at a tomb where they supposedly buried most of the Swedish royalty (!?). For some reason lots and lots of ghosts turned up (someone did a ritual?) There was some fuss. Some ghosts actually killed a few people because they got angry at being awakened from their slumber, or because they wanted to get out and follow us out into the world of the living or something like that. Towards the end I actually had to use a magical jade rock to reveal a ghost who had taken the appearance of my girlfriend Belle and tried to pass off as her. The magical stone had the power to repel ghosts. So when towards the end of the dream Belle and her doppelganger stood quarreling about who was real I could use it to drive the false one away. No really big worries in that dream so it shouldn't have made me feel edgy today either.

Ok, time to write some e-mails and then maybe I can meet Belle to have lunch with her. Dios.

Ok, I got an apartment now. Maybe not the best in the whole of town, but pretty ok and it's gonna be even better once it is furnished a little. I don't have too many things though and I suck at the furnishing deal, but I love it when it's done well. Hopefully I can recruit some local talent for the project ;)

I didn't go to kendo practice, nor did I go to Chang Quan because my knees are still giving me some trouble. Hopefully the teacher can look at it at practice today. Instead I went and visited a friend, a visit which was really a bit overdue, I haven't seen him for a few weeks.

Oh, and I really had a reason to worry by the way. Or not really a reason, but Belle didn't show up. Not for half an hour and even calling her on her cellular didn't work. She didn't answer. So I went to the university computer center and had just begun to type a mail to her friend asking what was up when Belle magically appeared and told me they had been looking for places for the celebration of the graduating students and it had taken much longer time than expected.

Then of course we went looking again but didn't find any perfect spot so I settled for a place we looked at this Saturday. It's ok though. No I'm just awaiting the go to move in and stuff.

Incidentally it's morning now, a slight morning drizzle has finally ended and the birds are emerging to sing. I don't have classes until 9 (just for today, usually my classes start at 8) and well everything is pretty ok. Hope you're all fine out there.

Well, that went relatively painless. Now I'm feeling kind of nervous for some reason. I guess I'm worrying about finding a good apartment. Pretty much feels like the last chance.

I'm gonna shut down the second quiz at friendstest.com now.

Some interesting results:

The questions with the least number of right answers were:

* Of these colours, which one do I really like the most? (Most of you guessed "black" on this one, but it's not really true. Now if it would have been about what colour I prefer wearing it would have been different)

* Which one of these chinese martial arts would I like to practice the most? (Obviously difficult because all alternatives would seem equally likely if I hadn't told you)

* I never heard my sister saying

Incidentally, YES, my sister has been saying all of these other things (not jokingly), including her famous: "I could kill you now, but I won't because I am so nice" and "I only hit people who are my friends"

The easiest question was apparently about my father who most of you correctly guessed or knew never practiced kendo but many other japanese martial arts.

Thanks to all of you who participated. Of course congrats to Regine who managed to beat off all competition and get 30 more points than the second best (my mother). Honorary mention goes to Erika (Rahvin) who despite never meeting me in person managed to guess right on 50% of all the questions, impressive.

Well I'll be back with a new quiz, but I'm gonna have to think about it some more. I'm gonna try to make it the uuuuultimate (read that thinking a weeeeird voice just read it) quiz on me. And whoever get's the highest score will have proven they know "the real me" the best moahahahaha.

Hrrm. Sorry about that. I'll try to be more serious in the future (even though it's hard sometimes)

Talk to you all later.

Nothing much to report about yesterday. Got up, didn't go to kendo practice, went and ate, walked to the place for kung fu practice, ran into Belle, had a nice walk, went back and practiced kung fu, got home, studied for an hour and a half, went to bed.

I really sucked at the test (in my opinion). My biggest mistake was mixing up "Ge Chu" and "Dao Chu". Or actually not so much mixing them up as failing to check out how they differed in use. You see, my book translated both of them as "everywhere". Turns out that one ("Ge Chu") is better translated as "anywhere in ..." rather than "everywhere" oh well. Hopefully I learned something. I'm gonna hit the books a little harder now. Although my spoken chinese is improving, it's not helping the test results that much (yet anyway).

Well I'm sitting here at the computer center at the university (where the internet connection is always painfully slow incidentally) trying to catch up on some e-mail. At 12 I'll have lunch with an aquaintance I already ran into today. He said he saw me with a girl holding hands yesterday, so I'm expecting some questions on that. Well, that's pretty much it for now. Hope you folks are all doing fine. Take care.
