What has been up you wonder? Study and stuff.

First I was off of Hsitou in central Taiwan together with people from my kung fu club. Finally some fresh air...

Anyway I had a good time, but when returned to Taichung the harsh reality set it. I had to make a speech for a speech competition I didn't want to participate in. I pretty much only did it to have a better chance for the scholarship.

I didn't get the frigging thing done until two days before the contest and everything had to be memorized (about 6 minutes of speech). In the end I managed to do it, but only barely so my performance sucked :) Not that it bothered me that I didn't win anything though.

But then it was time for the next thing: The test for the scholarship. There first one written test and one oral for those who passed the written one. Since it's really important to me (if I don't get the scholarship chances are I have to go home by January and get, you know, "a real job") I really put a lot of energy into it. Unfortunately after two days of hard studying it turned out that what I needed go back and study wasn't this semester's material but the basic stuff covered in the semesters before. With 3 days to complete things I sat down to study review the old stuff.
Which only was about 27 chapters of probably well over 2000 words to review. No matter how good you are, these things take time. So that's what I've been busy with. Yesterday I had the written exam and today... well I'm writing am I not?

So that's what's been up with me. I hope you understand why I have been a wee bit busy?

Now I have to finish the short essay on the Swedish highschool students I'm supposed to hand in by tuesday. Not to mention having tests the same day. As well as the oral exam for the scholarship. Wooohooo. :)
