Ok, I'm still alive. I should be home really though. So just a quick hello and goodbye. Goodbye! :)
Blog me sideways
This is where I'm supposed to write what it's about. But it's just some random things from my life, and things are not really about anything. Go with the flow.

Another uneventful day? Chinese as usual, then having lunch with a friend and then going home and accidentally lying down on the bed that always dooms me to incredible drowsiness. Belle woke me up and then I followed here to school and here I'm sitting at the computer lab.
A perfectly ordinary day. But maybe a story how I met this friend (his english name is Mark, so I'll use that).
Anyway, I was returning from my first or second kendo practice (I don't remember which) lugging the bogu (that's the kendo armour for you non-kendoists out there) home. On my own that takes about 45 minutes which is kind of bad when you're carrying a 10+ kg bogu plus your training outfit, plus you actually practiced hard for three hours before that. Enough of whining and on with the story.
I was lugging it along with some unknown Chinese guy stopped and asked me if I wanted help.
I said "no, no problem". He persisted and told me he had his motorbike parked close by and all. I still said that it wasn't necessary, but after walking along talking to him for 5 minutes or so and him still insisting to help, I let him take one handle of the bogu bag :)
So, he helped me home, we talked about this and that (his english is fairly good so there was no great problems to communicate) and now occasionally he sends me newsarticles which he thinks I might have some comment on (from my perspective as a Swede I think).
Well, that's the story. Not very interesting, but at least I wrote a little more than yesterday's 4 sentences, right?
Dios for now. Ok? Complain if I write too little.

Ok. This day went kind of ok so far. Even the chinese classes were rather painless (because today there was no homework I missed out on doing). Weather is warm as usual and no rain in sight. Well not so much to report really. Everything is sailing smoothly without too many waves. Sorry... :)

Well, just a short note. I should be home I guess. Sleeping or something. Practice was fine, as was most of the day except for maybe today's classes where I managed to mistake what we were gonna be tested on so I studied for the wrong thing?
Anyway, still alive and kicking.

Hmm.. practicing two more hours after returning from practice didn't help much. I only got through about half of the words in total. Well, not much to do about that. It's a pity though, because now I probably won't have time to get into learning the rest of the characters. And did I mention I actually had another homework, namely learning a text so that I could retell it in my own words? I didn't even have a chance to start working on that. Another thing I'm supposed to do for some day soon instead.
Well, it's off to lunch with Belle now soon (I hope, she might have forgotten it considering I accidentally called her so late that I woke her up. If she was as sleepy as she sounded I don't blame her for forgetting it haha). Hope you're all ok out there. Can't get the e-mail to work from here though, so I have to put it off for later.
So, all of you out there take care of yourselves, I'm signing off now for today.
Ok, doing the visa thing took like 6 hours. Guess if that bored the hell out of me. First bus, then train, then bus again, then wait for the damn thing to open again after lunch. Then wait there for a hour or so and finally go home again. I feel sorry for my friend who helped me with the whole matter. It must have been even more boring for him.
Yesterday the kf club was supposed to go and watch some kf being performed by other groups but it turned out it was cancelled. For some reason we still hanged around there for a few hours. After that some lunch with another club who we'd gotten to know earlier. Friendly people. Anyway, we ate and then toured Tunghai University. Finally it was time to go home, and so that's what happened. Belle visited me later and together we sat studying - she with Japanese and me with Chinese (yes and that's really what we did).
Today it was another day out since there was a farwell party of sorts for the senior students at the club. After returning from that event I sat down and studied again and now I'm here at the internet cafe, but only briefly to say I'm still alive and don't really have time to catch up on e-mail today. I'm off to practice now but I still need to practice much more for my test tomorrow.
But it doesn't really bother me too much. I've done what I could to study for it, if that's not enough then I think it's more because we were supposed to learn insane amounts of words in a very short time. So, time to go.
Take care out there.
